New Beginnings

I feel like I should write some sort of inaugural post for this new blog, this new beginning, this attempt at creating something meaningful for myself.

See here's the problem. I have had blogs in the past. I have had places to complain, to vent, to otherwise spew random bits of life into the universe to land wherever they will, but I never put enough effort into my writing and thus never enjoyed reading it myself. And if I can't enjoy reading it, how can I expect anyone else to?

I have also had more focused blogs to chronicle my knitting projects and contribute to the DIY community, and the problem there came when I simply got too busy to knit anything and when I finally did finish something the thought of then having to write about and photo and otherwise commit even more time to each project became overwhelming.

And I don't want blogging to be a chore.
I want it to be an inspiration.

And I have chosen this as my goal. To post one thing every day that inspires me. A photo. A quote. A video. A dress. A website. Anything that makes me happy and will continue to make me happy when I look back at this blog days, weeks, months later.

As of today I am dropping my anchor here.
