2/10/2010

Ok so you get the pleasure of an early post today because I am stuck at home due to blizzard conditions outside. Visibility is maybe at about 10 feet. Wind gusts of 40 mph. And according to NBC news, this is the most snow DC has seen since 1899! So here I sit with my blanket, my laptop, my hot chocolate, and my view of the blizzard. Well, I don't really have a hot chocolate. But I could! And maybe I will! All I know is I'm not going out there.

In the midst of all this cold and snow and ice, I am in need more than ever of a little sunshine to brighten up my day. And this would certainly do the trick! If someone gave me one of these I think I just might cry from joy.

  1. It's a cake? How lovely and bizarre. At first glance I thought it was felt or yarn. I would kill to be snowed in right now, east coast has all the luck this winter.

  2. We have officially broken all records for snowfall this February, and we're only 11 days in. Expecting more snow on Monday and probably more next Friday as well. It was great fun at first, but... two storms with multiple feet of snow each time and several other storms tossed in between for good measure... I'm done. Ready for Spring. Please.
