The mister and I met up with a group of friends yesterday to go pumpkin picking. The original plans of the day also included corn mazes and haunted houses, which didn't quite work out, but we had a great day nonetheless. We found a farm that actually lets you go out into the field where the pumpkins grow and cut them right off the vine. So much more fun than picking one out of a box at the grocery store or even those places that just have them sitting out in a field to try to mimic the experience of real pumpkin picking!
Afterward we headed over to a friends house for some cooking out and hanging around a fire on a perfectly chilly October night. I hope you all had a great weekend as well!
